Francis A. “Frank” Kopp, Sr.,84, of Hamilton Township passed away peacefully at RWJ Hospital in Hamilton on November 26, 2022.
Born in Trenton, he was a graduate of Trenton Catholic and Rider College, where he excelled as a member of their basketball teams. A lifetime horse racing enthusiast, Frank was a devoted NY Giants and Yankee fan who enjoyed fine dining experiences with family and his many friends. An outgoing and generous person, Frank was a joy to be around. Frank spent his career in the large Metal Building Construction business, retiring as CEO of his own company.
Predeceased by his parents, Stephen and Jane Kopp, his son Frank Jr., his daughter Karen Gregorovic, brother Stephen Kopp (Joan), sisters-in-law Sally Minar, Kathy Febinger and husband Ed, and nephew Michael Minar. Frank is survived by his wife of 61 years Maryann (Hillman) Kopp, son-in-law Tom Gregorovic, granddaughter Lauren Gregorovic, brother-in-law John Minar, sister-in-law Valerie Yuncza and husband Ed, nephew John Minar (Ronie), nieces Maryann Christina (Rich), Amy Febinger, Kristin Hope (Joe) and several grand nephews and nieces. Frank also leaves behind many close friends including lifelong buddies Ed Gallagher and Frank Hickman (Lidia).
Visitation will be Thursday, December 1, 2022 from 9:30am until 11:00am. at the Kingston and Kemp Funeral Home, 260 White Horse Avenue, Hamilton, NJ 08610 (www.kingstonandkemp.com) Service will be held at 11:00am at the funeral home. Burial will be held privately. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in Franks memory to St. Jude’s Children Hospital (https://stjude.org) or the Stomp the Monster Foundation (htps://www.stompthemonster.org)
