David E. Wilson, 65, of Trenton, NJ, and formerly of Hamilton, NJ, passed away on Thursday, October 13, 2022 at Merwick Care & Rehabilitation Center, Plainsboro, NJ. Born in Trenton, NJ and raised in Hamilton, NJ, Dave was a 1975 Graduate of Hamilton High School West, where he excelled in swimming, and received his Associate’s Degree from Mercer County Community College. Following college, he enlisted in the US Army where he became a Military Police officer and served in Stuttgart, Germany. He was employed over the years with the Trentonian newspaper, Purolator Courier and A-1 Limousine. He was also a member of Pilgrim Presbyterian Church, Hamilton. Son of the late Charles J. and A. Shirley Harbourt Wilson, brother of the late Donna Wilson Barger and step-son of the late Ann K. Wilson, he is survived by his brothers and sisters-in-law Mark A. Wilson and Robyn Slatnick, Peter J. and Cherylanne Wilson and Joel E. and Teresa Wilson, his niece Jennifeur Wilson, his nephews Michael (Katherine) Wilson, Christopher (Jamie) Wilson and Alan Wilson, his great-nieces Savannah and Phoebe Wilson, his former sister-in-law Donna Hirth Wilson, his step-brothers Kevin M. (Christine) Dalton and Donald M. (Casey) Dalton, his step-niece and nephews and many dear family and friends. A Celebration of Dave’s Life will be held on Friday, October 21, 2022 at 11:30 AM at Kingston & Kemp Funeral Home, 260 White Horse Ave., Hamilton, NJ (www.KingstonandKemp.com). Interment of cremated remains will follow at Colonial Memorial Park, 3039 S. Broad St., Hamilton, NJ. Relatives and friends may visit on Friday from 10 AM until 11;30 AM at the funeral home.
