Donald Robert Hustis, 88, of Bordentown Township, NJ, and, formerly of Yardville, NJ, passed away on Thursday, September 29, 2022, at home, surrounded by his loved ones. Born December 30, 1933 in Beacon, NY, Don was a US Army Veteran, serving in Korea, and received his Masters of Government Administration from Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. He was employed for many years and retired from the State of NJ / Department of Health. Don was a member of the Dorothea Dix Unitarian Universalist Community and was an avid fisherman, reader and photographer. He will always be remembered for his brilliant mind and his somewhat dry and devilish wit. Son of the late Edgar and Ethel Hustis and father of the late Mary Anne Hustis, Don is survived by his loving wife of 60 years Patricia Hustis, his daughters and sons-in-law Teri and Mark Zaffino and Cindy and Jim Robb, his granddaughters Ariele Hilton and Frankie Zaffino, his great-grandson Colton Donald Hilton and a host of others, as his family wasn’t defined only by last names or blood but by commitment and love. A Celebration of Don’s Life will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at 12 Noon at Kingston & Kemp Funeral Home, 260 White Horse Ave., Hamilton, NJ (www.KingstonandKemp.com).
