Obituary of Geraldine A. Tomko

Geraldine A. Tomko, 83 of Hamilton passed away February 3, 2021 with her loving husband and son James at her side. Born in Trenton she was a lifelong area resident. She had worked for the State of New Jersey Department of Education in the Finance Department for 16 years and was a member of Kappa Delta Phi. She resigned to become a full-time homemaker as family was of the utmost importance to her. Known as Granny, she was most proud of her family. Geraldine enjoyed Seaside Heights, Casinos as well as riding motorcycles and going out in the big truck with Poppy. She is pre-deceased by her parents, Frank and Antoinette Abatto; her in-laws, Joseph and Mary Tomko; son, Michael Tomko, Jr.; granddaughter Judyann, the One and Only Tomko and brother, Benard Abatto. She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years Michael, Poppy, Tomko, grandsons, James M. Tomko and wife Brittany; and Scott A. Robinson; sister, Doris Abatto-Goulding; brother, Michael Abatto; great-grandchildren, James Jr., Connor, Brice Tomko and Alexis Remboske as well as several nieces and nephews and childhood friend MaryAnn Coluccio. Visitation for family and friends will be held Monday, February 8, 2021 from 6:00 - 8:00pm and Tuesday, February 9, 2021 from 9:15-10:15am at the Kingston and Kemp Funeral Home, 260 White Horse Ave., Hamilton. (www.kingstonandkemp.com) Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday at 11:00am at Our Lady of Sorrows, E. State St, Hamilton.
