Obituary of Doris Ritzo

Doris J Ritzo Doris, 92 of Hamilton, NJ passed away peacefully on May 24, 2022, at home. Daughter of the late John and Mary Milliner she was born in Leitchfield, Ky and moved to New Jersey in the 1950’s. She worked for the State of NJ Department of Health for several years retiring in 1990. Doris was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who always put her family first. She knew and embraced her Catholic faith. Her smile, quick wit, sense of humor, generous spirit and her warm presence will be missed immensely. Predeceased by her husband Carmen Ritzo, six brothers, and two sisters and brothers in law and ten sisters in law. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughter Lori and son in law Joseph Moreau with whom she resided, daughter Marysue Ritzo of Yardville, and beloved grandson Michael who was her pride and joy, two brothers and sister in law Charlie Milliner and JD and Lois Milliner all of Louisville Ky, brother in law Albert Ritzo of Myrtle Beach SC, brother in law and sister in law Richard and Karen Ritzo of Henderson NV, a host of nieces and nephews and her granddogs Coal and Annie. The family extends their gratitude and appreciation to all the lovely angels at Holy Redeemer Hospice, Caring Senior Service and many others who took such exceptional tender care of our mother for many many months. A celebration of life mass will be held at a later date. There will be no calling hours. Cremation will be private.
