Dear Mom, Thanks for giving your family the greatest gifts we ever received. Together we've climbed mountains, waded into muddy, tidal rivers. We've chased beach wildlife into the surf, collected the most beautiful sand dollars and seashells. We've gathered around the warmest fires and laughed and cried our way until morning. Many songs were sung and games were played. Countless holidays, birthdays and celebrations all benefited greatly from your touch. You were always there.........You were always there.....A lighthouse in the fiercest storm, A warm blanket on the coldest nights. Always willing to relieve others pain and soothe the most restless hours in others lives. You had the strength and resilience of a superhero. We've watched you smile and laugh even at your darkest days. How do you do that Mom? How? We thank you for that mystery. Because with a tiny amount of time left in your life here on earth we watched you smile , laugh and chat as if we were sitting at home with coffee, half watching Lets Make A Deal or the Price is Right. We thank you for everything Mom. Mostly for the way you taught us how to bond and how not to stay angry at others. You gifted us with the power to reach across hundreds of miles to be with relatives and friends. The Happiest of days "down south". Getting the greatest hugs and kisses from relatives as well as strangers. YOU did this Mom. ....All of this We love you, Love you, Love YOU!!!! We Thank You, Thank You, Thank YOU!!!
