James Thomas "Jim" McTamney Jr., 67, of Hamilton, NJ, passed away, peacefully, on January 6, 2025.
Jim was born on July 7, 1957. He was the son of the late James Thomas McTamney, Sr. and Janice (Hohl) McTamney. Jim attended Holy Angels Grammar School, Grice Middle School, and graduated from Hamilton High West in 1975. Jim was employed by Acme Markets, IGA, and Shoprite as a meat cutter. Jim also earned his CDL and drove for Silvi Concrete and Britton Concrete. He enjoyed fishing, baseball, and spending time with his children and grandchildren. He also enjoyed his lottery games, shark week, and the history channel.
Jim is survived by his four children James Thomas McTamney III (Heather), Brian Michael McTamney and his wife Angela and their mother Helen (Metzler) Cloward, Matthew James McTamney, Jessica Lauren McTamney (Charles) and their mother Lori Ann (Souders) McTamney. Jim is also survived by his brother David Scott McTamney and his wife Kim, his grandchildren Charlotte (Charlie) McTamney, Cole Lucas Davis, and Bryce Thomas Davis, nieces Barbara McTamney, and Meghan McTamney, cousins Barbara Letts, Christopher Murphy, Jean (McTamney) Petretta and Judy (McTamney) Moore (Charles), and his recently deceased cousin/friend Kay (Letts) Murphy.
Jim had many friends and people who cared about him. He will truly be missed.
