Ronald J. Venanzi, 93, of Hamilton, NJ, passed away, peacefully, on Thursday, December 19, 2024, at Serenity Hospice at RWJ Hamilton, Hamilton, NJ, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Trenton, NJ, Ronald was a lifelong resident of Hamilton Township. He was a graduate of Trenton Catholic High School, Class of 1948 and was also a graduate of Rider College “University”, Class of 1952, where he received his bachelor’s degree in accountancy. Ronald proudly served in the United States Army, from which he was honorably discharged in 1955. After working in the accounting industry during his formidable years, he decided to venture out on his own in public practice and created Venanzi Accounting Associates PA in 1974. His firm still has an inherent presence today, but under the name of Affiance LLC. Ronald was an avid sports fan. He loved watching baseball, football, hockey and basketball. He was a diehard Philadelphia sports fan. Ronald loved traveling to Cape May, NJ with his wife Dolores during the summer and staying in their summer cottage from 1994 to 2010. He was also passionate about his Italian culture and cuisine. Ronald was the husband of the late Dolores F. Bartolomei Venanzi, whom he had been married to for 64 years. He was the son of the late Anthony J. and Amelia Carmignani Venanzi, son-in-law of the late Louis B. and Irene Balazsi Bartolomei. He was also pre-deceased by his sister-in-law Eileen R. and brother-in-law Joseph D. Demko, Jr., and his son-in-law Vincent J. Martella. Ron is survived by his daughter Cynthia Aust and husband David, his daughter Gerri Martella, his son David R. Venanzi and wife Barbara, his daughter Eileen Carbone and husband John, his son Ronald Venanzi and wife Susan, his brother and sister-in-law Dr. Thomas Venanzi and Dr. Carol Venanzi, his 11 grandchildren Scott Aust and wife Victoria, Amy Antipin and husband Anthony, Anthony Martella and wife Kaitlin, Melissa Martella, David Venanzi, Jr. and wife Stephanie, Ashley Marini and husband Brett, John Carbone, Christine Carbone, Michael Carbone and wife Cassidy, Louis Venanzi and Nicole Venanzi, 12 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, December 28, 2024 at 10:30 AM at St. Raphael’s Church, 3500 S. Broad St., Hamilton, NJ. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, 400 Woolsey St., Hamilton, NJ. Relatives and friends may visit on Friday, December 27, 2024, from 5 to 8 PM and on Saturday from 9 to 10 AM at Kingston & Kemp Funeral Home, 260 White Horse Ave., Hamilton, NJ. In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made in Ron’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tn 38015 (stjude.org).
