Thomas E. Meyers Obituary

Thomas E. Meyers, of Hamilton, New Jersey, died suddenly on December 9, 2024.

He was born in Anniston, Alabama and was 93 years old. Tom served proudly in the U. S. Army as an Operating Room Technician during the Korean War and was honorably discharged. Once discharged, he went on to school to become a barber and opened his own barber shop in Pennington, New Jersey. He later went on to school and became an Optician, working at various optical shops and even opening his own store in Burlington County, New Jersey.

Tom enjoyed the friends he made at Care One ALF in Hamilton and had great admiration for “his special helpers”, Pearl and Jeanette.

Pre-deceased by his parents Claudia and Fred Meyers, his loving wife Marge, and sons Thomas and Joseph Meyers, he is survived by his devoted daughter Jean and husband Doug Corrigan, his granddaughter Emily and husband Matthew Safranek and his great grandchildren Brynn and Brayden Safranek.

A private funeral service will be held at Kingston and Kemp Funeral Home, 206 White Horse Avenue, Hamilton, New Jersey.

Interment will be at Holy Assumption Cemetery, 450 Parish Lane, Roebling, NJ 08554.
