Garry D. Griffith, Sr. Obituary

Garry D. Griffith, Sr., 72, of Hamilton, NJ, passed away on September 15, 2024 at home.

Born in Trenton, NJ, he was a lifelong Hamilton resident. Garry was retired from the Township of Hamilton, NJ, where he was a Senior Building Maintenance Associate. He enjoyed watching the NY Mets, the Washington Redskins and was an avid fan of Classic TV.

Garry was predeceased by his father Garnett Griffith, Sr., his mother Emma Cawley Griffith, his sister Virginia Ann Buckley, his first wife Linda Holloway Griffith, his uncle Bobby Lawrence, his grandmother Pansy Pipps, his daughter Valerie Swisher and his step-daughter Jessaline May. He is survived by his wife Jacqueline A. Griffith, his children Garry D. (Dawn) Griffith, Jr., Sharon Griffith, Mark (Amanda) Griffith and Michael Griffith, his brothers and sisters Garnett (Michelle) Griffith, Monroe (Angel) Griffith, Barry (Debbie) Griffith, Emma (Robert) Bobbitt, Mark (Vinci) Griffith and Thomas Griffith, Sr., 11 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be on Friday, September 20 2024 at 11 AM at Kingston & Kemp Funeral Home, 260 White Horse Ave., Hamilton, NJ (KingstonandKemp.com).

Interment will follow at Colonial Memorial Park, 3039 S. Broad St., Hamilton, NJ.

Relatives and friends may visit on Thursday from 5 to 8 PM at the funeral home.
