Jerome S. Migliacci, 79, of Columbus, NJ, passed away on Saturday, August 31, 2024 at Virtua Memorial Hospital in Mount Holly. Jerry was a longtime resident of Hamilton Township, NJ before moving to Columbus in 2004 where he enjoyed his retirement with his wife, Carol, at their home by the lake. Jerry graduated from Steinert High School in 1963 and was an avid athlete and played varsity basketball, baseball and football. He studied at the University of Pittsburgh and was the starting guard for their varsity basketball team. After college Jerry played 30 years of softball, winning many championships, mostly with Lestician Trucking. His love for the game of softball led him to coaching his granddaughters. In 2013, Jerry was inducted into the Steinert High School Athletic Hall of Fame. Jerry retired from FMC Corporation in Princeton, NJ where he was a Senior Research Chemist for 36 years and a consultant for 6 years. He also served in the Army National Guard. Jerry was a kind, patient and loving father and grandfather, who adored his family. He enjoyed spending time at the beach and loved golf and tennis. Predeceased by his loving parents, Jerome A. and Louise Frascella Migliacci, grandson Michael Mustari, Jr. and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Joseph and Kathleen Palmieri, he is survived by his wife and best friend, Carol Palmieri Migliacci, sister and brother-in-law, Linda and George Harris, brother-in-law and sister-in-law, James and Annmarie Palmieri, daughters and sons-in-law, Dawn and Pete DiMarco, Cari and Mike Mustari, Angela and Sam Wood, grandchildren Jessica (Marissa), Cara (Rob), Connor, Cole, Louis, Joseph and Lia, great-grandchildren, Peyton, Beau and Avery, and many special nieces and nephews. Family and friends may gather on Saturday, September 7, 2024 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at Kingston and Kemp Funeral Home, 260 White Horse Avenue, Hamilton, NJ, followed by a prayer service at the funeral home.
