Obituary of Lucille "Graziano" Miktus

Lucille (Graziano) Miktus, 100, of Trenton, NJ, passed away late Tuesday, August 6, 2024.
She was born, raised, married, and raised her own family in Chambersburg, Trenton, NJ until the age of 97 when she moved to Hamilton, NJ to live with her son Robert, and later a nursing home.
Her career included being a licensed beautician, employed by Roebling’s during WWII, and later the NJ Dept of Health.
Lucille was devoted to her children and her church, and very proud of her grandchildren. She loved to host Christmas Eve dinner for the whole family. She enjoyed crocheting with which she was able to make many blankets for her family, friends, and charity auctions, gardening, church bingo, PTA and bake sales, Atlantic City bus trips which she ran for her Senior church organization for many years, going out to eat with many relatives and friends, watching the Yankees, sitting on the front porch, and especially gathering for lunches with her nieces.
She was a lifetime member of Our Lady of the Angels Parish (St. Joachims), a member of it's seniors club, and the San Felese Society.
Lucy was the youngest of 13 children, predeceased by her parents, Vito Antonio Graziano and Maria (Mary) Frances (Petrino) Graziano, her husband and love of her life, Walter J. Miktus, and her siblings Sebastiano, Frank, Mike, Sebastian (Jack), Anthony, Joe, Dan, Marion, Mary, Rose, and Tess.
She is survived by her brother Vincent Graziano, her four sons, Richard (Debbie), Michael (Jan Baldwin), Robert (Alison Carpenter), and Joseph (Ronald Raimo), and her grandchildren Richard Jr., Daniel, Amanda, Maria, Theresa, John (Jack) and Arielle to whom she was known as “Nana”, all whom she loyally supported through their childhood activities, and many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, August 14, 2024 at 10:30am in Our Lady of the Angels Parish – St. Joachim’s Church, 21-23 Bayard Street, Trenton, NJ 08611.
Calling hours will be from 8:30am to 10:30am at the church.
