Nick Misciascio, 56, of Burlington, NJ, passed away on August 3, 2024 at home, peacefully, in his sleep. Nick was born in Trenton, NJ on November 21, 1967. He went to high school at Hamilton High West and graduated in 1985. He went on to earn a degree from MCCC. He worked as a PC Technician for St. Francis Medical Center for many years. In his youth, he enjoyed playing baseball and was a star pitcher. He had a love for music and was an avid vinyl record collector. He enjoyed spending time with his family and vacationing with them, especially in St. Thomas, USVI. He fought Wilson's Disease and severe Lung disease for most of his life and participated in the Wilson's Disease Registry Study to help further our understanding of the disease. Nick is predeceased by his grandparents Dominic F. and Elizabeth (Moldovan) Misciascio and Pasquale and Constance “Connie” (Costanza) DelAversano (John Peroni), parents Anna Dolores DelAversano (Pat McGary), parents-in-law Carl and Marge Durcanin, uncles Dominic “Jr.” Misciascio, Anthony DelAversano, his dogs Lucky and Freddy, and cats Kitty, Tazzy, Zoe, Ollie, Mr. Pretty, and Avery. Nick is survived by his father John Misciascio (predeceased by Barbara), loving wife Margaret “Margie” (Durcanin) Misciascio, children Thomas Carl (Liz Raggio) and Charlotte Nicole Misciascio, brother-in-law Carl (predeceased by Joyce Immordino) Durcanin, sister-in-law Christine “Criss” (James “Jim”) Reilly, nephews Brian, Michael, Eric (Corinne) and great niece Martine Reilly, aunt Angie (predeceased by Frank) Yeager, uncle Joseph (Susan) Misciascio, several cousins, many lifelong friends, and his dogs Reggie and Toto and cats MoonPie and Lollipop. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to all of those who have helped Nick over the years. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, August 10, 2024 at 10:30 AM at St. Raphael’s Church, 3500 S. Broad St., Hamilton, NJ. Entombment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hamilton, NJ. Relatives and friends may visit on Friday from 6 to 8 PM and on Saturday from 9 to 10 AM at Kingston & Kemp Funeral Home, 260 White Horse Ave., Hamilton, NJ (KingstonandKemp.com).
