Louis J Farina, III Obituary

Louis J. “Lou” Farina, III, 58, passed away, peacefully, on July 24th, 2024, at home, surrounded by family.


Lou was born on July 26th, 1965 at St. Francis Hospital in Trenton, NJ, where he grew up. He later moved to Philadelphia, where he settled and raised his family. Lou went on to start his own business, Lou’s Landscaping, and ran the business for over 25 years. Lou will be remembered for his passionate love for his family, his race car driving, his generosity, his perseverance, and his landscaping work. Lou loved traveling with his family to the shore, having barbecues, and attending dirt car races.


Lou was predeceased by his father, Louis J. Farina Jr. and is survived by his wife, Brenda Farina; his children, Alvert “Neil” Farina, Melissa “Lala” Farina, Louis J. “Lou” Farina IV and his step-children, Melissa Eckstrom and Curt Eckstrom. He is also survived by his mother, Joyce Farina and his step-mother, Connie Farina; his sisters, Virginia Maldonado and Annette Brindley; two grandchildren, several nieces and nephews; and many more family and friends.


His memory will live on in the hearts of everyone who loved him. Every time his family sees the number 44, anything related to racing, Groot, or certain music, it will remind us that he is still with us. He will live on in all of our memories.


Funeral service will be on Friday, August 2, 2024 at 12 Noon at Kingston & Kemp Funeral Home, 260 White Horse Ave., Hamilton, NJ (KingstonandKemp.com).


Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, 1200 Cedar Lane, Hamilton, NJ.


Relatives and friends may visit on Friday from 10 AM to 12 Noon at the funeral home.
