Joseph G. Ridolfi Sr., 92, passed away Friday, June 28, at Homestead at Hamilton with his family by his side. Son of the late Benjamin Ridolfi Sr. and Lena Serafine Ridolfi, Joseph was born in Trenton, NJ and remained in the Hamilton area throughout his life. In the fifth grade he met the love of his life, Gloria Varroni, who would stand by his side for the rest of her life. They married in 1954 and built a beautiful family. He graduated from Hamilton High School West and attended Rider University. Joseph was a proud U.S. Army veteran, honorably serving in the Korean War, stationed in Japan. He returned home to become the sole proprietor of the Hub Liquor Store for 47 years, as well as, a landlord. Joseph thoroughly enjoyed working alongside his sons David and Joseph and was a devoted husband, beloved father, and a source of wisdom to his grandchildren. He shared a special bond with his great grandson, Hunter. After his retirement, his hobbies included following the stock market, teaching senior citizens computer skills, and using his carpentry, plumbing and electrical abilities around the house. He enjoyed spending time with his family and visiting his Ocean City, NJ beach house. He was predeceased by his devoted wife, Gloria, his beloved daughter, Kathleen Ritz, his two brothers, Benjamin, Jr. and wife Loretta and Richard Ridolfi, his uncle, Sido Ridolfi and wife Beatrice, and his sisters-in law, Loretta Kryzwulak and Dorothy Ridolfi. He is survived by his sons, Joseph and wife Suzanne (Duffy) and David and wife Susanne (Bentley), his grandchildren, Ashley (Ridolfi) Russo, Andrew and wife Ellen (Fischer), Nicholas, Brian, Ryan, and Micheal, and one great grandson, Hunter. He is also survived by his brother, Edward, his sister-in-law, Gloria, his brother-in-law, Jack Kryzwulak, his son-in-law, David Ritz, and his dear friends, Robert and Minnie Vecere, along with many nieces and nephews. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at 10:30 AM at St. Raphael’s Church, 3500 S. Broad St., Hamilton, NJ. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, 400 Woolsey St., Hamilton, NJ. Relatives and friends may visit on Wednesday from 8:30 to 10 AM at Kingston & Kemp Funeral Home, 260 White Horse Ave., Hamilton, NJ (KingstonandKemp.com).
