Bridget J. Whyte, 95 years, passed away peacefully on June 14, 2024. Bridget was pre-deceased by her husband, Frank J. Whyte and her son Frank N. Whyte. Born and raised in Galway, Ireland, Bridget married Frank and made plans to move to America by way of England and Canada before finally arriving in the US and settling in Hamilton Twp., NJ. She was very active in The Columbiettes and served as President. She later worked at the Division of Gaming Enforcement in Trenton until her retirement. Bridget’s hobbies included gardening and she loved to shop. She had a deep faith and was devoted to St. Anthony and the Devine Mercy. Nothing gave her more joy than reminiscing about Ireland and telling stories about her beloved Ireland and her family and friends. She also enjoyed the companionship of her dog Daisy for 18 plus years. She later moved to Gwynedd Valley, PA where she resided with her daughter, Karen. Bridget is survived by her daughter Mary Whyte, her daughter Karen Vare (Stanley) and her daughter-in-law Nan Whyte (nee Devine). Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, June 21, 2024, at 10:30 am at St. Raphael’s Church, 3500 S. Broad St., Hamilton, NJ. Entombment will follow at the mausoleum at Ewing Cemetery, 78 Scotch Rd., Ewing Township, NJ. Relative and friends may visit on Friday from 9 to 10 am at Kingston & Kemp Funeral Home, 260 White Horse Ave., Hamilton, NJ (KingstonandKemp.com).
