Anthony S. Burkhart, 81, of Hamilton, NJ, passed away, peacefully, at home, on May 14, 2024. Born in Trenton, NJ, he was a lifelong area resident. He was a Graduate of Hamilton High School West and attended Trenton Junior College. Anthony was an Engineer with the State of New Jersey / Department of Transportation and retired in 1993. He was a member of the NJ National Guard, an avid Phillies, Eagles and Sixers fan, enjoyed playing tennis, golf, softball and was an accomplished bowler. Anthony also enjoyed going to car shows and a good Philly cheesesteak. Son of the late Anthony J. and Helen Augustyn Burkhart, he is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Michelle and Tom Harkness, his son and daughter-in-law Michael and Theresa Burkhart, his grandson Michael Burkhart, II (Melissa Hillevi Walls), his great-granddaughter Violet Burkhart, his longtime companion Judith Robb and several cousins and his beloved canine Sheba. Funeral service will be Thursday, May 23, 2024 at 12 Noon at Kingston & Kemp Funeral Home, 260 White Horse Ave., Hamilton, NJ (KingstonandKemp.com). Entombment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton, NJ. Relatives and friends may visit on Thursday from 10 AM to 12 Noon at the funeral home.
