Marie Mingo, 86, of Hamilton, NJ, passed away, peacefully, at home on Monday, October 23, 2023.

Born and raised in New York, NY, she previously resided in Leonia, NJ, before moving to Hamilton 20 years ago. Marie worked for many years at Montgomery Ward in New York and had retired several years ago as assistant manager from Fox Run Apartments, Plainsboro, NJ. She was a family centered woman who cherished spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Daughter of the late Robert and Margaret Furlong Byrne, sister of the late Thomas Byrne, Rose Smith, James Byrne, John Byrne, Margaret Phair, Robert Byrne, Michael Byrne and Walter Byrne, wife for 43 years of the late James V. Mingo and wife for 13 years of the late Robert Livick, she is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Virginia and Wayne Petrillo, her son and daughter-in-law James V. and Nancy Mingo, her daughter and son-in-law Doreen and Jeffery London and her son Michael Mingo, her brothers William and Eugene Byrne, her grandchildren Shawn Petrillo, Jamie Killion, Stephen Petrillo, Anthony Petrillo, Kristen Zelinski, Kailey Mingo, James Mingo, Shannon London, Kelly London-Julson, Samantha Mingo and Daniel Mingo, 7 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be on Monday, October 30, 2023 at 10 AM at Pearson Memorial United Methodist Church, 71 Pearson Drive, Hamilton, NJ.

Interment will follow at Old Tennent Cemetery, 454 Tennent Road, Manalapan, NJ.
