Linda Esther Szathmary, of Roebling, NJ passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on October 14, 2023 at the age of 76. She retired from the New Jersey State Police as secretary to the Major at the Trenton State Police Barracks. Linda was a member of the Florence United Methodist Church; she was an active member of Eastern Star Chapter 257 in Bordentown, was an avid pianist, organist and choir member to several churches and groups locally. Linda loved spending time with her family, was a loving wife, mother and friend to many. She loved all animals big and small and cherished her pets with all of her heart. She loved going camping especially to Lancaster PA, she also loved antiquing with her husband when they traveled and was a huge fan of the Philadelphia Eagles. Linda spread her kindness and generosity to several charities and always believed in paying it forward. She is survived by her husband of 54 yrs. Carl B. Szathmary, her daughter and son –in-law Jill and Kevin Laning, her daughter and loving partner Kathleen Szathmary and Gregg Biddle and grandson, Davin Horner. Services will be held privately. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Kingston & Kemp Funeral Home, Hamilton, NJ.
