Irving Rosenthal, age 97 of Hamilton, passed peacefully on Thursday, September 28, 2023.
Born in Bronx, New York, he was a lifelong area resident.
Irving proudly served his country in the United States Army (315th Infantry Regiment - 79th Division) during World War II.
He served in the Central European Theater including Normandy, Northern France, and Rhineland. Among the various decorations and citations received, he was awarded the Silver Star.
Private interment was held with military honors in the Bordentown Cemetery.
