Victoria J. Vasil, 95, of Hamilton, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at Capital Health Regional Medical Center, Trenton, NJ.

Born in Pittston, PA, she was a New Jersey resident for the past 76 years, residing in Hamilton for 66 years and Whiting for 10 years. Victoria was retired from the NJ Casino Control commission and was a longtime member of St. Raphael / Holy Angels Parish and St. Raphael’s Rosary Altar Society. She was also a member of the St. Raphael’s Elementary School PTA and the Elderberries Seniors Group. Victoria enjoyed trips to Atlantic City, New York City and Philadelphia and loved cooking for family dinners and spending quality time with her growing family.

Daughter of the late Orazio and Dionisio Mazzeo, sister of 4 late siblings, mother of the late Thomas J. Vasil, Jr., and wife for 65 years of the late Thomas J. Vasil, Sr., she is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law Michael T. and Catherine Vasil, Donald J. and Janice Vasil and Joseph D. and Margaret Vasil, her grandchildren Michael (Sarah) T. Vasil, Jr., Matthew (Kathryn) Vasil, Daniel (Diana) Vasil, Lauren (Michael) Brophy, James (Dana) Vasil and Jonathan (Emily Strober) Vasil, her great-grandchildren Jacob, Gracelyn, Andrew, Madison, Bradley, Jillian, Timothy and Emma Vasil and Anthony and Victoria Brophy and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will begin on Tuesday, July 18, 2023 at 10 AM at Kingston & Kemp Funeral Home, 260 White Horse Ave., Hamilton, NJ (KingstonandKemp.com). Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 AM at St. Raphael’s Church, 3500 S. Broad St., Hamilton, NJ.

Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton, NJ.

Relatives and friends may visit on Tuesday from 9 to 10 AM at the funeral home.
