Glenn E. Wright Obituary

Glenn E. Wright, 75, of Yardville, NJ, passed away on Saturday, May 27, 2023.

Born and raised in southeast Texas, Glenn was a resident of Yardville since 1976. After high school he served with the US Coast Guard as an electronic Technician and attended Texas A&M University and, later, finished his academics at Trenton State College, receiving his Bachelors in Business Administration. Glenn was retired from AT&T after a 25-year career. He volunteered his time to the AT&T Pioneers, Hamilton Township Recreational Soccer Association and many of his children’s school functions and projects. He was a loyal fan of Philadelphia sports teams. He cheered on the Eagles, Flyers, Phillies, Sixer’s, and Union, as well as, Manchester United Football Club.

During his retirement years, he enjoyed vacationing at the Jersey shore and travelling both stateside and abroad with his beloved wife Linda. Glenn found comfort in reading the Bible and praying regularly. He watched Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune each night with his wife and their cat Spot. As a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather, he cherished time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Pre-deceased by his parents Lloyd C. Wright and Lorene Evans Wright and his brothers Jesse and David Wright, he is survived by his Bride of 52 years Linda Wright, his children Andrea Fennelli, Heather Diodato and Sean Wright, his grandchildren Nicholas, Emily, Sabrina and Alena and his brothers Charles, Harold, Kenneth, and Daniel Wright.

Funeral service and interment at Brig. Gen. Wm. C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ will be private.
