Erma L. Young, 96, of Hamilton, NJ, passed away on Saturday, May 27, 2023, peacefully, at Morris Hall, Lawrenceville, NJ.

Born and raised as one of eleven siblings in Morrisville, PA, she was a life-long resident of Groveville, NJ. Erma was retired from the State of NJ / Dept. of Justice after more than 25 years of service. She enjoyed her retirement years crafting, playing Bingo, playing card games with friends and, most importantly, spending quality time with her growing family.

Daughter of the late Frank and Frances Lovett Vaneekoven, wife for 54 years of the late Samuel A. Young, Sr., mother of the late Samuel A. Young, Jr. and William “Billy” Young, and grandmother of the late Robert “Bob” Young, she is survived by her daughter in law Debbie Virgil-Young, grandchildren Samuel A. (Jaime) Young, III, Timothy (Kristin) Young and Randy Young, her great-grandchildren Kyle, Cody, Connor, Aubrey and Ella and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be on Friday, June 2, 2023 at 12 Noon at Kingston & Kemp Funeral Home, 260 White Horse Ave., Hamilton, NJ (KingstonandKemp.com).

Interment will follow at Family Cemetery, S. Pennsylvania Ave., Morrisville, PA.

Relatives and friends may visit on Friday from 10 AM to 12 Noon at the funeral home.
