Richard M. Episcopo passed away, peacefully, on Friday, May 5, 2023 at RWJ University Hospital at Hamilton. He was born to the late Joseph and Fannie Episcopo of Trenton, NJ. Richard graduated from Steinert High School, Hamilton, and was the owner of G & E Auto Body on Miami Avenue in Hamilton, NJ. Richard is survived by his wife of 62 years Eleanor Episcopo, his children Sharon and Richard Bokma of Bordentown, NJ, Richard and Joyce Episcopo of Columbus, NJ and James and Michelle Episcopo of Hamilton, NJ, and his brother and sister-in-law Donald and Nancy Episcopo of Roebling, NJ. Richard had seven grandchildren, Richard, II, Nicholas and Katie, Gina, Evan, Alex and Felicia, Matthew and Jane Gadus and Peter and Zoe Thomas. Richard also had two great-grandchildren Vincent and Bella. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at 10:30 AM at St. Raphael’s Church, 3500 S. Broad St., Hamilton, NJ. Interment of cremated remains at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hamilton, NJ will be private. Visitation will be on Saturday, May 20, 2023 from 9 to 10:30 AM at St. Raphael’s Church. Please do not send flowers, as they will not be accepted at the funeral home or church. In lieu of flowers, Rich’s family requests that memorial donations be made to the Hamilton Township Animal Shelter and Adoption Center, 2100 Sylvan Ave., Hamilton, NJ 08610.
