Russell M. Hartman, 85, of Columbus, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 surrounded by his loving family.

Born and raised in Hamilton, NJ, Russell was a resident of Hamilton until moving to Columbus 19 years ago. A 1956 graduate of Hamilton High School, Russell was an Honorably Discharged US Marine. He retired in 2004 from Barton & Cooney, Ewing, NJ, and was previously employed as a printer with McGraw-Hill and Hibbert Printing. Russell was a member of Hamilton Elks Lodge #2262 and enjoyed spending his summers at the Jersey Shore, fishing, hunting, gardening, and attending his grandchildren’s many sporting events.

Son of the late Russell M. and Anna Mae Bennett Hartman, he is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Suzanne M. Cullen Hartman, who he met as a Junior in the back halls of Hamilton High School. Together they raised daughters and sons-in-law Donna and Lawrence Chiappetta and Denise and Thomas Fink. In addition, he is survived by his grandchildren Nicholas (Lauren) Chiappetta, Thomas (Kristin) Fink, Lora (Joseph) Webber and Daniel (fiancé Alexis Lemma) Chiappetta, his great-grandchildren Bryce, Chloe, Grayson, Logan, Cameron and Max, and many dear friends.

A Memorial Service will be on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at 12:30 PM at Kingston & Kemp Funeral Home, 260 White Horse Ave., Hamilton, NJ (www.KingstonandKemp.com).

Relatives and friends may call on Tuesday from 11 AM until 12:30 PM at the funeral home.
