Michael H. Sargo, III, 73, of Hamilton, NJ, passed away on Friday, February 24, 2023, at Samaritan Hospice at Virtua Memorial Hospital, Mt. Holly, NJ. Born in Trenton, NJ, he was a lifelong area resident. Michael enlisted in the US Air Force in 1968 and proudly served until his discharge in 1971. After leaving the service, he was employed for the next 22 years with National Sponge Cushion Company of Trenton. He then went to work for Staples where he was employed in their fulfillment centers in Cranbury, NJ and, later, in Secaucus, NJ, retiring after 25 years. Michael was an active member of the American Legion, enjoyed everything “Chevy”, bowling, watching military history movies, traveling and the Jersey shore. Son of the late Michael H., Jr. and Ida Sargo, he is survived by his longtime partner Mary Beth Davies, his son Michael H. Sargo, IV and his grandson Aaron Sargo. Funeral service will be Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at 12 Noon at Kingston & Kemp Funeral Home, 260 White Horse Ave., Hamilton, NJ (www.KingstonandKemp.com). Interment will follow at Colonial Memorial Park, 3039 S. Broad St., Hamilton, NJ. Relatives and friends may call on Wednesday from 10 AM to 12 Noon at the funeral home.
