Ronald A. Bodnar, 81, of Whiting, passed away on Wednesday, February 1, 2023.
Born and raised in Trenton, Ron was a lifelong area resident until moving to Whiting 10 years ago and back to Hamilton in 2020. He retired after 30+ years as a Contract Administrator with the State of NJ / Department of Health. He enjoyed bowling, coaching baseball, football and time with his family.
Son of the late Andrew and Stella Bodnar, brother of the late Rita (Donald) Vannozzi and Mary Ann Ryan, grandfather to the late Jacob Steinhauer and brother-in-law of the late Del Tolas, he is survived by his spouse Margaret “Peggy” Bodnar, his step-son Larry (Kristine) Reuter, his step-daughter Marion (Doug) Willey, his step-sons Ronnie (Jenn) Reuter and Jason (Ingrid) Reuter, his sister Dolores Tolas, 9 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will begin on Monday, February 6, 2023, at 10:15 AM from Kingston & Kemp Funeral Home, 260 White Horse Ave., Hamilton, NJ. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 AM at Holy Cross Church, 215 Adeline St., Trenton, NJ.
Relatives and friends may call on Monday from 8:30 to 10:15 AM at the funeral home.
Interment will follow at Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, 400 Woolsey St., Hamilton, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ronald McDonald House of Delaware or a charity of your choice.
