Lucy Christine Tartaglia, 91, of Hamilton, New Jersey died on January 22, 2023 at Care One of Hamilton after a lengthy illness. Lucy was born in the city of Trenton on September 22, 1931, and was a lifelong resident of the Trenton and Hamilton areas. She was employed with the State of New Jersey Division of Beverage Tax as an investigator for forty-one years. Lucy enjoyed traveling and visited many countries around the world. She also relished her weekly treks to Atlantic City, trying her luck at the casino slot machines. She was known to be generous, fashionable and just a wee bit feisty, but loved by all. Predeceased by her parents John and Enrichetta Tartaglia and brothers Vincent and Augustine, she is survived by nieces and nephews Henni Krawtschenko, John and Sherry Tartaglia and Irene and Thomas Kokotajlo as well as several great nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank Care One at Hamilton and Ascend Hospice for the excellent and compassionate care given to Lucy over the course of her stay. Visitation will be held Saturday, January 28 from 9:00 – 10:00 am at Kingston and Kemp Funeral Home, 260 White Horse Avenue, Hamilton. Private burial will follow at Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, Hamilton.
