Mary Katona, 99, passed away Sunday, December 18. She was born in Sobrance, Czechoslovakia, came to the US in 1928 and remained a resident of the Trenton-Hamilton area for her entire life. She retired from the State of NJ Dept of Taxation where she was a clerical worker. Daughter of the late Joseph and Susan Petruska, wife for 62 years of the late Zoltan Katona and sister of the late Joseph Petruska, she is survived by her sons Thomas and wife Linda Katona and Dennis and wife Joann Katona, all of Hamilton; her grandchildren Paul Katona, Shalon and husband Mike Piccuirro, Maureen and husband Tim Warner, Scott and wife Jessie Katona, Michele and husband Philip Ganz and Stephanie and husband Frank Weeks. Great grandchildren Cole and Ruby Piccuirro, Trevor Warner, Joseph and Mallory Katona, Alison and Ryan Ganz, Austin and Clark Weeks, a sister-in-law Maria Katona and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 12 noon Thursday, December 22, 2022 from the Kingston and Kemp Funeral Home, 260 White Horse Avenue, Hamilton, NJ 08610 Friends may call 10-12 noon Thursday at the funeral home.
