Job T. Davis Obituary

Job T. “Tom” Davis, 86, of Jobstown, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Thursday, December 15, 2022.


Born in Mt. Holly, NJ, Tom lived most of his life in Trenton, NJ until moving to Jobstown. Tom served in the US Navy as a Commissary Seaman from 1954 to 1959.


He retired from Dinger Brothers Iron Works in 1998. He enjoyed bowling, woodworking, and going to the casino.


Predeceased by his parents Allie Stanley and Pearl (Schinn) Davis; his loving wife of 52 years, Carol (Stout) Davis, and his brothers, A. Stanley and Ronald Davis.


He is survived by his children, Thomas (Joby) Davis and girlfriend Barbara, Jamie Hernandez and husband Simon, Elizabeth (Betsy) Belardo and husband Paul, Robert Davis and wife Danielle, Kathleen Zach and husband David, Melinda Smerklo and husband Stephen, Job (Tommy) Davis, Jr. and wife Jane; his grandchildren Rachel Anderson and husband Ben; Morgan, Lauren and Ciara Davis; Jessica Hernandez; Brandan and Elise Carter; Zachary and Paige Davis; Anna, Melanie, David, and Luke Zach; Carol and Ella Smerklo; Job III and Jeremy Davis; his great-grandchildren Mason and Wyatt Anderson; his sisters Shirley Vasanski, Lorraine Lawson and husband OL, Sharen Zukas and husband Ed. He is survived by many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.


Services will be held on Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at 12:30pm at the Kingston and Kemp Funeral Home, 260 White Horse Ave., Hamilton, NJ. (www.kingstonandkemp.com)


Entombment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton.


Calling hours will be held from 10:30am to 12:30pm at the funeral home.
