Obituary of Robert G. Seeds
Robert (Bob) G. Seeds, 81, of Mercerville passed away on Friday, January 8, 2021 at home.
Born in Trenton, he was a Hamilton resident for most of his life. A US Air Force Veteran, Bob was proud to have served with the US Strategic Air Command. Following his military service, he worked for PSE&G then became a NJ State Trooper, serving for 10 years before retiring. After several years he formed Bob Seeds & Son Construction Co., which he operated until retiring in 2000.
He enjoyed the Hamilton Senior Center where he was a Pool Champion and also enjoyed playing pool at the Bordentown Yacht Club. He truly enjoyed family camping trips and loved to spend as much shore time as possible in Stone Harbor.
Son of the late Harold Seeds and Margaret Rhoads Seeds Ingling, step-son of the late Edwin (Bunny) Ingling, brother of the late Richard (Dick) and Andrew Seeds, grandfather of the late Michael Seeds and husband for 60 years of the late Margaret (Marge) Rooney Seeds, he is survived by his son and daughter-in-law Robert H. and Ruth Seeds, his daughter Karen Rose, his grandchildren Jennifer Seeds and fiancé Patrick Mahlstedt, Robert H. Seeds, Jr., Johnny Rose (Trenton Police), and Alexa Seeds, his sister-in-law Patricia Seeds and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be Friday, January 15, 2021 at 10 AM at Kingston & Kemp Funeral Home, 260 White Horse Ave., Hamilton (www.KingstonandKemp.com).
Interment will follow at North Crosswicks Cemetery, Crosswick Hamilton Square Rd., Hamilton.
Relatives and friends may call on Friday from 9 to 10 AM at the funeral home.
