Mary Ann Demspey Coleman, age 83 of Whiting, New Jersey passed away on May 1, 2026 at Preferred Care Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Hamilton Square.

Mary Ann was born in Trenton to Mary and John Phillip Demspey. A 1961 graduate of Hamilton High School West, she went on to work for Bell Telephone, became a homemaker, was active in the PTA, then later was employed by Bristol Myers Squibb as well as several local doctors’ offices as an administrative assistant. She enjoyed sewing, spending time talking with her grandchildren, scrolling through social media and watching her beloved Philadelphia Phillies.

Mary Ann is survived by her husband of nearly 64 years Dennis J. Coleman, a son, Daniel Coleman of Hamilton, a daughter and son-in-law, Kelly Ann and Michael Guire of Bordentown, grandchildren Clint D. Coleman, Lyssa J. Coleman, Trey M. Guire and Joshua D. Guire as well as several close cousins and friends.

Mary Ann is preceded in death by her parents as well as her brother and sister-in-law, John R. and Joyce Demspey and her nieces Deborah Vitella and Linda Sokolowski.

Burial is private.
