John Philip "Jack" Widmann, Jr. Obituary

John P. “Jack” Widmann, Jr. passed away in the room in which he was born in Yardville, NJ on Sunday, May 3, 2026.

He is survived by sons John P. III (Mary-Jo), Mark D. (Rose), and James B. (Mary Kay), step-daughter Ellen O’Brien and step-son Donald O’Brien, three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and several step-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother David Hand (Connie). He was predeceased by his parents John P., Sr. and Mary Hand, his first wife Nicholene, his wife Charolette, brothers Paul Hand, Carl Hand, and Kipp Hand.

Jack began working as a castor for Standard Sanitary/American Standard on his 18th birthday, and retired after 40 years of service. He then went on to work for West Windsor-Plainsboro Schools as a custodian, and retired after 15 years. His obsession with Studebakers led him and Charolette to travel throughout the US in their 1954 Commander Starliner, making too many friends to count. He was a member of The Studebaker Drivers Club, and was currently the President of the Garden State Chapter SDC and past President of the Central Jersey Antique Club.

Please no flowers; donate to your favorite charity in Jack’s name.
