Robert Drew Ristow Obituary

Robert “Drew” Ristow, 69, of Hamilton, NJ, passed away surrounded by the love of his family. Born in Trenton and raised in Hamilton, NJ, Drew lived a life defined by hard work, dedication, and an unshakable devotion to the people he loved.

From an early age, Drew had a passion for anything with a motor — a love that stayed with him throughout his life. He built a career of remarkable dedication, spending over 40 years at American Biltrite/Congoleum, where his commitment and work ethic earned him the respect of all who knew him. Drew never stopped moving; it simply wasn’t in his nature.

His greatest joy was his family. He cherished every moment with his granddaughters, Harper and Avery, watching them grow with a grandfather’s pride that words could hardly capture. His home, his heart, and his time were always theirs.

A proud and devoted member of the Ancient Order of the Hibernians, Drew carried his Irish heritage with quiet dignity. He was the kind of man whose presence filled a room and whose absence will be deeply felt.

Drew is survived by his beloved wife of 48 years, Carol; his sons, Robert (Lynne) and Timothy (Marisa); his cherished grandchildren, Harper and Avery; his grand dogs, Aang and Brody; his mother-in-law, Lorraine Rogers; his brothers, Jay (Debbie) and Bruce; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Ernest; his mother, Alice; and his sister, Karen.
