Nicholas Paul Carsia, Jr., 78, passed away, peacefully, at home on Monday, January 26, 2026.
Born in Ewing Township, NJ, Nick moved with his family to Hamilton Township, NJ and was a member of the first graduating class of St. Anthony’s High School in 1965. He proudly served in the United States Army in both active duty and in the Army Reserve. Nick graduated from Mercer County Community College in 1972. He was employed by the State of New Jersey Office of Information Technology, where he retired as a supervisor in 2000. He proudly served as a shop steward for the CWA Local 1032 where he worked diligently to support his fellow union members.
Nick will be remembered for his engaging smile, his mischievous eye twinkle, his dedication to family, his inability to say no to the request of a friend, and his genuine interest in the lives of those who crossed his path.
Nick was predeceased by his parents, Nicholas P. and Theresa (Ritzo) Carsia; and father- in-law James S. Puliti. He is survived by his wife, Virginia C. (Puliti) Carsia; mother-in-law, Yvonne (Mancini) Puliti; brother, Rocco V. Carsia (Helen Weber); children Theresa Tarangioli (Mark), Nicholas P. Carsia, III (Gina) and Anne Marie Carsia; cherished granddaughter, Isabella Tarangioli; sisters-in-law Denise (Puliti) Poston, Paula (Puliti) Maxwell, Jeannine (Puliti) Radcliffe, and Lisa (Puliti) Walker; brothers-in-law James Puliti, Jr. and Robert Puliti; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and beloved grand-pup, Brooklyn.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, February 9, at 10:30am at St. Raphael Church, 3500 South Broad Street, Hamilton, NJ.
Private interment will be at a later date.
Family and friends may pay their respects beginning at 9:30am until the time of service at St. Raphael Church.
