Gene Louis Baldassari, 74, formerly of Hamilton, NJ, passed away December 19th, 2025 in Nixa, Missouri.

Gene was born in Trenton, NJ and lived most of his life in Hamilton, NJ until moving to Nixa for the last few years of his life. He attended Reynolds Junior High and graduated from Steinert High School, class of 1969. After high school, he attended Columbia School of Broadcasting in New York City to study how to be a radio announcer. He was also a Graduate of the College of New Jersey with a BS in Business.

Gene spent his junior high school & high school years in the school band. He was in state championship band competitions.

His career began when he founded Byte Supply in Trenton, NJ and started a band known as The Providers. Gene joined the American Federation of Musicians local # 62 shortly afterwards. He worked at Fedders as a production cost accountant in Edison, NJ before they relocated operations out of NJ. He also was a member of the Trenton Civil Defense, and a leader the National Health Federation (NHF) in NJ. Gene was an entrepreneur at heart so he started two companies after he relocated to Missouri and was a visionary individual who was launching a third company when health issues intervened.

As Gene was a man of faith, he also maintained a close friendship with the Full Gospel Businessman's Fellowship International members in NJ, and taught Bible Study classes at a church near Springfield, Missouri in the Ozarks mountain countryside.

Son of the late Gene A. Baldassari and Angela (Indelicato) Baldassari, he is survived by his sister and brother-in-law Frances & Jeff Elmer, nephews Michael Anzalone and Shaun Elmer, and several cousins. Also, lifelong friends Joe Jesson & Joe Saint Michael, and other friends.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, January 23, 2026 at 11 AM at St. Vincent de Paul Church, 555 Yardville-Allentown Rd., Yardville, NJ.

Entombment of cremated remains will follow at Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, 400 Woolsey St., Hamilton, NJ.
