Neil Kissel, 68, of Robbinsville, NJ, passed away, Peacefully, surrounded by his family, on Tuesday, November 18, 2025.

Neil was born in Trenton, NJ to the late Donald J. and Betsy Wise Kissel. He graduated from Notre Dame High School in Lawrenceville, NJ.

Neil was the owner/operator of Kissel Construction Company. He also enjoyed landscaping, gardening, yard sales and cooking. He loved animals and they often “showed up” and were always welcomed with open arms. He was happiest when he was working on a project or a challenge. He had a knack for transforming a simple property into something unique and beautiful. There was not a project that he couldn’t tackle and perfect. He enjoyed watching the Philadelphia 76ers and Eagles. He played guitar and loved to listen to music. He found time to reach out to anyone in need and was a support person for many in self-help groups.

In addition to his parents, Neil was predeceased by his wife Nancy Diorio Kissel.

He is survived by his brother Ronald S. Kissel, his sisters and brothers-in-law Donna and Gary Amice and Clare and Bruce Napiorkowski, his nieces Dr. Casey Diorio, Mackenzie Barbieri and Ashley Dunn, his nephews Patrick Amice and Bruce Napiorkowski, and many great-nieces, great-nephews and family and friends including Diane DeWindt.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 26, 2025 at 11 AM at the Church of Our lady of Sorrows, 3800 E. State Street Ext., Hamilton, NJ.

Burial will be private.

Relatives and friends may visit on Wednesday from 10 to 11 AM at the church.
