Irene C. Hudson, 48, of Mansfield, New Jersey, passed away on September 1, 2025, in Hamilton, New Jersey, surrounded by her family.

Irene was born in Belleville, New Jersey, to the late Joseph J. Buczek Jr. and Irene M. Suszynski on September 30, 1976. She attended Kearny High School, graduating in 1994, and went on to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in English from Rutgers University. Irene spent 26 years working as an Operations Specialist for AT&T.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, cooking, traveling, reading, working out, and running. She was passionately involved with YWCA Princeton’s Breast Cancer Resource Center. Irene was known for her kindness, strength, compassion, heartfelt laugh, and positive outlook on life. She was a devoted mother, wife, and sister. Her love for her family and friends was endless, and she will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Irene is survived by her husband, Mark Hudson of Mansfield, with whom she shared over 26 years together, celebrating more than 20 years of marriage; her daughter, Sabrina Hudson; sister, Stephanie Ford; sister-in-law, Ashley Ford; and brothers, Joseph Buczek and Daniel Buczek. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Buczek and Irene Suszynski.

Funeral service will be on Monday, September 8, 2025 at 7:00 pm at Kingston & Kemp Funeral Home, 260 White Horse Ave., Hamilton, New Jersey.

Visitation for family and friends will be on Monday from 3:00 to 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
