Stella A. Fruscione Courtney, 93, passed away on August 8, 2025 at Greenwood House in Ewing, NJ.

She proudly raised her five children in Hamilton and has been a lifelong area resident. Stella was an accomplished vocal coach and had a passion for singing opera. She attended the Curtis School of Music with a full scholarship.

Stella enjoyed her relationship with Jesus Christ; her family; singing; giving music lessons for many years and her countless friends. She will always be remembered for her beautiful singing voice and her gentle, sweet spirit.

Predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Lucy Fruscione; her former husband, George Courtney, Jr.; son, Kelly Courtney and her sister, Marian Miele.

Survived by, her three sons, their wives and one daughter; along with 17 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Dr. George W. Courtney III and his wife Kathleen; Timothy Courtney and his wife Kimberly; Jon Earl Courtney and his wife Gina; in addition to her daughter Colleen Courtney. She had several nieces and nephews and countless friends.

Stella was a very fashionable woman. She loved wearing animal prints and sparkly jewelry. She was classy in every way.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 19, 2025 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. with words of remembrance beginning at 11:00 a.m. at the Kingston and Kemp Funeral Home, 260 White Horse Avenue, Hamilton, New Jersey 08610.
