In loving memory of Michael Voilas, Sr.
January 25, 1965 – April 24, 2025
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Michael Voilas, Sr., who left us at the age of 60. A man of strength, warmth, and unwavering love. Michael was the pillar of his family, guiding them through life’s ups and downs with steadfast devotion.
Michael’s greatest joys were found in the simple pleasures of life—spending countless cherished moments at Six Flags with his beloved grandson Jaxson and son Michael, and unwinding with classic John Wayne films in his spare time. As a dedicated truck driver for Hi-Grade Beverage, he worked tirelessly to provide for his family and his commitment extended beyond the road. For many years, he served as a shop steward for the Teamsters Union, advocating for his fellow workers and ensuring fairness in the workplace—a role he took great pride in.
Michael was the devoted son of Louise and George Voilas, the loving father of Michael Voilas, Jr. and the proud grandfather of Jaxson Voilas. His presence alone offered comfort and security to all who knew him. He was the kind of man who led his family with unwavering love, standing strong through good times and bad. A dutiful son, an amazing father, and a grandfather beyond compare—his legacy will live on in the hearts of those who loved him most.
Though he is no longer with us, his spirit will forever guide us. Michael Voilas, Sr. will be terribly missed, but his love will be carried forward every single day.
