Louise N. Foley, 97, of Hamilton, NJ died on Sunday, March 9, 2025 at home surrounded by loved ones. She was born in Jim Thorpe, PA and raised in Sayre, PA. She graduated from University of Pennsylvania Hospital School of Nursing. Returning to Sayre, she was supervisor of Pediatrics at Robert Packer Hospital until her marriage to the late Robert D. Foley. After caring for their eleven children, she re-entered the workforce as a librarian at Saint Raphael School in Hamilton. She always treasured those 23 years with great joy. Louise was predeceased by her husband, Robert, after 54 years of marriage and raising their children while living in Hamilton, NJ. Also predeceased are her parents Edmond and Nora (Dugan) Friess, her sister and brother in law Carol and Richard Roberts and her brother in law Francis E. Foley. She is survived by her eleven children and their spouses: Mary (Mark) Zapicchi, Patrick (Patricia) Foley, Timothy (Patricia) Foley, Kathleen (Kevin Sr.) Purdy, Joseph (Sharon) Foley, Ann Marie (William) Swords, Elizabeth (Brett) Weeast, Martha (Richard III) Morley, Robert J. (Jeanine) Foley, Louise (Glenn) Haas, and Christine (Michael) Curatolo. The blessings of 23 grandchildren who will remember and pray for her: Christina (partner Harrison) Pjura, Kelly Ann (Mark) Harrison, Brian (partner Cara) Foley, Shaun (Christy) Foley, Ryan (Melissa) Foley, Kimberly (partner Mike) Purdy, Kevin Jr. (Leia) Purdy, Melissa (Lou) Persichetti, Jessica (Rob) DaBronzo, Erica (Mike) Stefanelli, Samantha (Lauren) Foley, Amanda (Cory) Williams, Tyler (partner Amanda) Swords, Thomas Mizerski, Lauren (Daniel) Gericke, Adam (Sarah) Morley, Benjamin (fiancé Bridget) Morley, Joshua Foley, Jordan Foley, Hannah Foley, Sara Haas, Caitlin Curatolo, Jonathan Curatolo. She has the love of 13 great grandchildren: Lily Harrison, Rowan Foley, Finn and Claire Foley, Anthony and Ella Persichetti, Mackenzie and Nicholas DaBronzo, Joseph and Nora Stefanelli, Avalyn Swords, Jaxson Morley and her 13th great grandchild Lucas Morley who is arriving in June. Also survived by her wonderful sister-in-law Jane Foley and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews and dear friends. A devoted New York Yankees sports fan, she enjoyed watching every Yankee game she could. She also enjoyed watching daily mass every morning on EWTN. The family would like to thank doctors Dr. William Constanzo and his nurse Samantha, Dr. Asit Patnaik and Dr. Darmakusuma Ie, as well as the aides and nurses (Chastity & Adrian) from Amedisys Home Health Care for taking such good care of her. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, March 17, 2025 at 10:30 am at St. Raphael Church, 3500 South Broad Street, Hamilton, NJ. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery Mausoleum, 1800 Hamilton Avenue, Hamilton, NJ. Family and friends may visit on Sunday, March 16, 2025 from 3 to 6 pm and on Monday from 9 to 10 am at Kingston & Kemp Funeral Home, 260 White Horse Ave, Hamilton Township, NJ 08610 In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Louise’s name to Hamilton Elks Special Children’s Committee c/o Hamilton Elks 2262, 1580 Kuser Road, Hamilton, NJ 08619 or St. Raphael Food Pantry, 3500 South Broad Street, Hamilton, NJ 08610 to purchase food for the needy.
