Govinda Radha Virginia Rust was a strong and energetic woman who fought cancer for the past 10 years before passing peacefully on March 6th 2025. She was a wife, a mother, an aunt, a niece, a cousin, a coworker, and a friend to many. Born in Fort Lauderdale Florida, Govinda lived in Ohio, Pennsylvania and Atlantic City throughout her youth with her siblings and cousins. She graduated from Milton Hershey High School in 1994, setting the school record for most strikeouts by a softball pitcher, as well as winning a state acting award. Govinda then went to Wesley College in Dover Delaware where she met her eventual husband, Daniel Rust. They later moved to Hamilton, New Jersey and had three children: Adrianna, Olivia, and Adam. Govinda worked as a daycare teacher for over 20 years and loved working with children, as well as creating arts and crafts with her classes. She then finished her working days at Amazon. Govinda’s personal interests included horseback riding, softball, gardening, dancing, and singing karaoke. Most of all, she loved spending time with friends and family, including the annual family trip to Bethany Beach, camping in Pennsylvania, visiting the Poconos, attending Phillies and Eagles games, and watching horror movies with her daughters. Govinda never missed a chance to support her children and she was the biggest fan of their activities that included soccer, softball, gymnastics, and karate, as well as monumental moments such as proms and graduations. Govinda is survived by her husband Daniel, her three children Adrianna, Olivia, and Adam Rust. Her siblings, Tamal Antonelli, Amanda Antonelli, Vincent Antonelli, Heather Antonelli, Jason Antonelli, Philip Esposito, and Mia Antonelli. Her Aunt Donna Antonelli, and cousins Jessica Shukowitsh, Jenna Antonelli, Joey Antonelli, and Jillian Antonelli. Her uncle Pete Antonelli, Aunt Tish and Aunt Rhonda Stanfill as well as many nieces and nephews. Govinda was predeceased by her father Michael Peter Antonelli, her mother Lois Carlene Stanfill, as well as her brothers Arjuna Antonelli and Richie Esposito.
