Hans J. Gerasch, age 75 of Hamilton passed away on February 8, 2025.
Born in Tiefenbach Bavaria, Germany, Hans came to the United States at a very young age.
He was a U.S. Army veteran having served during the Vietnam War from 1969 to 1970. He was the recipient of several service medals during that time.
Hans worked for several years at the David Sarnoff Research Center in Princeton.
He had many interests, which included crafting, boating and swimming at his summer residence in Mystic Island, NJ. In addition, he and his wife enjoyed traveling across the United States visiting many attractions along the way.
He is survived by his loving wife Janis (Lewandowski) Gerasch; his brother, Alex Gerasch; his sister, Marianna Brunner and husband Gottfried. He’s also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins along with many lifelong friends.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 17, 2025 from 5pm to 8pm at the Kingston and Kemp Funeral Home, 260 White Horse Ave., Hamilton, NJ 08610.
Monsignor Dennis A. Apoldite, Pastor of the Sacred Heart Parish will conduct services at 7pm.
Private burial with military honors will be held at the Brig. General Wm. C. Doyle Memorial Veterans Cemetery.
Due to cemetery regulations regarding flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Heart Association, 1617 John F Kennedy Blvd # 700, Philadelphia, PA 19103.
