Irene Marie Orlowski, born in Passaic, NJ on April 6, 1935 to Catherine and William Wojtach, died peacefully on Wednesday, January 22, 2025 with her husband and children by her side.
In 1959, she married the love of her life, Eugene John Orlowski, and settled in Hamilton, NJ. They were married for 65 years and were surrounded by family and friends.
Irene worked at Princeton University Plasma Physics Laboratory as a Procurement Subcontract Administrator for 19 years.
She is survived by her loving husband, Eugene, her children Michael (Beth Vail) Orlowski, Nancy (Richard) Waywood, Steven (Melissa) Orlowski; her grandchildren Joseph, Katrina, David, Scott, Catherine, Nicholas, Emily and Benjamin; nieces and nephews Katherine, Kimberly, William, Edward and Janet, as well as many lifelong friends.
Due to cemetery regulations prohibiting flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Irene’s honor to the Alzheimer’s Foundation at alzfdn.org.
